Restaurant Manager

A major new premium dining venue in Victoria is seeking a hands-on Restaurant Manager to take ownership of its front-of-house operation. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the service culture, team standards and guest experience from the restaurant's opening phase.

The role would also suit an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager who is ready to step into a Restaurant Manager position with genuine responsibility and leadership 

ownership.

• Taking ownership of front-of-house service and daily operations
• Leading the restaurant floor during service
• Recruiting, training and developing hospitality team members
• Establishing and maintaining consistent service standards
• Conducting pre-service briefings
• Managing reservations and guest flow
• Coordinating effective communication with the kitchen team
• Monitoring service pace and overall guest experience
• Supporting the development of supervisors and Assistant Managers
• Preparing and managing staff rosters
• Monitoring labour requirements and operational performance
• Overseeing stock, compliance and reporting requirements
• Building a strong team culture focused on accountability and professionalism

• Demonstrated experience in premium hospitality
• Experience within fine dining or hatted restaurant environments
• Restaurant management experience or strong Assistant Restaurant Manager experience
• Proven ability to lead and develop hospitality teams
• Strong guest relations and customer service skills
• Commercial awareness across labour and restaurant operations
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform effectively in a hands-on leadership role
• Current driver's licence
• Reliable access to private transport
