• Install and secure roofing materials across commercial construction projects
• Measure, cut and prepare roofing materials for accurate installation
• Install edge, ridge and other roof flashings
• Work around roof penetrations, vents, corners, ridges and other structures
• Install waterproof sheets and roofing underlay to required standards
• Secure roofing underlay using appropriate nails and staples
• Position and align starter sheets correctly along roof edges
• Install successive roofing sheets while maintaining correct overlaps and fastening
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Assess work areas and identify the materials required for each project
• Work with modern commercial roofing and cladding systems
• Maintain accurate and high-quality workmanship throughout each project
• Identify potential hazards and follow established site safety procedures
• Use tools and equipment safely and responsibly
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and other tradespeople
• Travel to different project sites when required
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment

• Demonstrated roofing experience is preferred
• Experienced Roofers from overseas are encouraged to apply
• Construction experience with transferable practical skills may be considered
• Commercial roofing or cladding experience is an advantage
• Ability to accurately measure, cut and install roofing materials
• Ability to understand construction drawings and specifications
• Good knowledge of construction site safety practices
• Strong practical and problem-solving abilities
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively as part of a professional team
• Physically capable of undertaking roofing and construction work
• Reliable, motivated and willing to develop additional technical skills
• Willingness to work across different project sites when required
