Senior Electrical Engineer

• Lead the electrical engineering aspects of rolling stock modification and overhaul projects
• Review engineering designs, technical documentation and contractor deliverables
• Coordinate engineering activities between project teams, contractors and technical specialists
• Ensure electrical design requirements are successfully implemented throughout project delivery
• Perform engineering investigations, technical analysis and system validation
• Support testing, commissioning and final acceptance of upgraded rolling stock
• Develop engineering scopes of work, specifications, procedures and technical instructions
• Monitor project outcomes to improve safety, reliability, maintainability and operational performance
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and engineering compliance audits
• Provide technical advice to multidisciplinary teams and operational stakeholders
• Identify engineering risks and implement practical solutions throughout project delivery
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across rolling stock engineering programs

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Extensive experience in rolling stock electrical engineering, including fleet modifications, upgrades and overhauls
• Strong background managing complex engineering projects from planning through commissioning
• Demonstrated experience preparing technical specifications, scopes of work and engineering documentation
• Experience performing engineering testing, fault investigation and system validation
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Current unrestricted driver's licence
