Working within a highly skilled engineering environment, you will oversee the technical delivery of rolling stock modifications, electrical system upgrades and major overhaul programs. From reviewing engineering designs through to testing and commissioning, you will play a key role in ensuring every project meets strict engineering, quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical engineering aspects of rolling stock modification and overhaul projects
- Review engineering designs, technical documentation and contractor deliverables
- Coordinate engineering activities between project teams, contractors and technical specialists
- Ensure electrical design requirements are successfully implemented throughout project delivery
- Perform engineering investigations, technical analysis and system validation
- Support testing, commissioning and final acceptance of upgraded rolling stock
- Develop engineering scopes of work, specifications, procedures and technical instructions
- Monitor project outcomes to improve safety, reliability, maintainability and operational performance
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and engineering compliance audits
- Provide technical advice to multidisciplinary teams and operational stakeholders
- Identify engineering risks and implement practical solutions throughout project delivery
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across rolling stock engineering programs
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Extensive experience in rolling stock electrical engineering, including fleet modifications, upgrades and overhauls
- Strong background managing complex engineering projects from planning through commissioning
- Demonstrated experience preparing technical specifications, scopes of work and engineering documentation
- Experience performing engineering testing, fault investigation and system validation
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Current unrestricted driver's licence
