Sheet Metal Fabricator / Aluminium Fabricator

Are you an experienced metal fabricator with a strong eye for detail and proven aluminium welding skills?

A growing fabrication operation in Western Australia is looking for a capable Sheet Metal / Aluminium Fabricator who can turn drawings and concepts into accurately fabricated products.

The focus is on finding a verified and suitably experienced tradesperson who can contribute from day one

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and workshop sketches
• Fabricate aluminium and sheet metal products to required specifications
• Carry out TIG and laser welding on aluminium components
• Operate workshop machinery for cutting, bending and rolling
• Prepare materials and components for fabrication
• Measure and check finished work for accuracy
• Assemble fabricated components with precision
• Maintain consistent quality throughout the production process
• Work collaboratively with other trades and production personnel
• Assist with identifying ways to improve fabrication efficiency
• Maintain a clean and well-organised workshop environment
• Comply with workplace safety and operational procedures

• At least 3–5 years of professional fabrication experience
• Relevant experience in sheet metal or aluminium fabrication
• Demonstrated aluminium welding capability
• TIG or laser welding experience
• Strong ability to read drawings and technical sketches
• Experience operating fabrication machinery
• Fencing and gate fabrication experience is an advantage
• Strong measurement and problem-solving skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Reliable approach to quality and workplace safety
