Storeperson

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Nightshift Storeperson to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation in the North Island, New Zealand. This permanent full-time position offers a minimum of 40 hours per week, ongoing training and development opportunities, and employer-provided health insurance. You will play an important role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, inventory handling, and customer service while working in a safety-focused environment. Employer sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move goods
• Perform order picking and packing accurately to meet customer requirements
• Unload shipping containers and complete container devanning activities
• Carry out manual handling and warehouse stock movement tasks
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory
• Prepare customer orders for dispatch within required timeframes
• Complete warehouse administration and inventory documentation
• Provide professional customer service when required
• Perform MPI Accredited Person duties where applicable
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
• Work effectively as part of the nightshift warehouse team

• Minimum one year of forklift operating experience
• Experience operating forklifts up to 5-tonne capacity
• Experience operating reach trucks
• Forklift licence or relevant certification preferred
• Experience using forklift attachments is advantageous but not essential
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling duties
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work permanent nightshift hours
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is highly desirable
