Telecommunications Field Engineer

• Perform RF and transmission (Tx) integration, commissioning, testing, and carrier acceptance across telecommunications infrastructure projects.
• Install, configure, and commission antennas, remote radio units, feeders, microwave equipment, transmission hardware, outdoor cabinets, and associated telecommunications systems.
• Support telecommunications tower upgrades, structural installations, equipment replacements, and infrastructure enhancement projects alongside qualified rigging personnel.
• Complete commissioning records, testing documentation, and carrier acceptance reports in accordance with Australian telecommunications industry standards.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical faults during installation and commissioning activities.
• Maintain compliance with workplace health, safety, environmental, and quality management procedures on every project.
• Travel to metropolitan and regional project sites across Australia as required.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to client specifications.

• Demonstrated experience as a Telecommunications Field Engineer with strong knowledge of RF integration, transmission systems, commissioning, and network acceptance.
• Experience working on wireless telecommunications infrastructure projects, including greenfield and brownfield environments.
• Current Intermediate or Advanced Rigging qualification.
• Current Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platform (EWP), and First Aid certifications.
• Experience with telecommunications tower structures and structural steel installations or upgrades.
• Ability to travel throughout Australia, including regional and remote project locations.
• Current driver's licence with additional heavy vehicle licences or industry certifications considered advantageous.
• Strong understanding of Australian workplace safety practices and quality standards.
• Excellent technical troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
