Truck Driver & DC Assistant

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Class 2 Truck Driver to join a growing distribution and logistics team in New Zealand. This full-time position involves long-haul deliveries of furniture and household goods while ensuring safe, efficient, and professional service. Visa sponsorship is available for suitable international candidates who meet Immigration New Zealand requirements.

• Drive a Class 2 truck safely and efficiently for long-haul deliveries.
•  Plan and manage delivery routes to meet scheduled timeframes.
•  Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
•  Load, secure, transport, and unload furniture and household goods safely.
•  Ensure products are delivered without damage.
•  Maintain delivery records, travel logs, and fuel documentation.
•  Communicate with the dispatch team regarding delivery schedules and updates.
•  Follow all road safety regulations and company transport procedures.
•  Provide professional customer service during deliveries.
•  Assist with warehouse loading and unloading duties when required.
•  Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.

• Minimum 1 year of Class 2 truck driving experience.
•  Current and unrestricted Class 2 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
•  Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and vehicle operation.
•  Ability to complete delivery documentation and travel records accurately.
•  Basic computer skills.
•  Good communication and customer service skills.
•  Physically fit and capable of loading and unloading furniture.
•  Reliable, organised, and able to work independently.
•  Willing to travel on long-haul routes, including overnight trips.
