We are seeking dependable Class 2 and Class 5 Truck Drivers to join an established transport and distribution operation supporting the movement of goods across Auckland and between key locations.

This is more than a driving position. You will become part of a team responsible for keeping transport operations running smoothly, with duties that can include vehicle preparation, loading and unloading, deliveries and other day-to-day transport activities.

The position can suit drivers looking for either local delivery work or line-haul driving, depending on your licence and capabilities. Line-haul drivers operate heavy combination vehicles, while Class 2 drivers focus primarily on local deliveries.

• Operate heavy vehicles safely and responsibly in accordance with company procedures
• Complete local deliveries throughout the Auckland region
• Operate heavy combination vehicles for line-haul transport where required
• Transport goods between company sites, customers and distribution centres
• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections within required timeframes
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
• Secure freight appropriately before transport
• Assist with truck preparation and general transport operations
• Carry out vehicle safety checks and report any issues
• Maintain accurate delivery and transport records
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
• Maintain professional communication with customers and colleagues
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a transport team
• Assist with additional transport-related duties when required
• Adapt to changing schedules and operational requirements

• Current and clean New Zealand Class 2 or Class 5 driver's licence, depending on the position
• Ability to safely operate the relevant heavy vehicle
• Class 5 applicants must be capable of driving heavy combination vehicles
• Class 2 applicants must be capable of completing local delivery duties
• Heavy vehicle driving experience is advantageous, but suitable candidates who can demonstrate the required driving ability may be considered
• Forklift licence is desirable but not essential
• Strong focus on safety and responsible driving
• Reliable and punctual work ethic

• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Willingness to undertake manual loading, unloading and transport-related work
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including night work
