The Opportunity
A well-established hospitality and events group in New South Wales is looking for enthusiastic and service-driven Casual Wait Staff to join its Front of House teams.
This opportunity is ideal for hospitality professionals who enjoy working in dynamic event settings and want exposure to a wide range of premium functions, including weddings, corporate events, gala dinners, private celebrations, and special occasions.
You will play an important role in creating memorable guest experiences, working alongside experienced hospitality, kitchen, and event teams to deliver polished and efficient service from setup through to the completion of each event.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive and professional service throughout events and functions
- Welcome guests and assist in creating a positive and memorable dining experience
- Prepare function rooms, dining areas, tables, and service stations before events
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately
- Serve meals, beverages, and other items according to established service standards
- Assist with table clearing, resetting, and maintaining venue presentation
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests
- Coordinate with chefs, supervisors, event coordinators, and other service staff
- Support the smooth delivery of weddings, corporate functions, private events, and large-scale occasions
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and personal presentation
- Follow responsible service of alcohol requirements and workplace health and safety procedures
- Adapt quickly to changing event requirements and high-volume service periods
- Contribute positively to a professional and team-oriented workplace
Requirements & Eligibility
- Previous experience in waiting, hospitality, functions, or Front of House is advantageous
- Strong communication and guest-service skills
- Professional, reliable, and confident when dealing with customers
- Ability to remain organised and composed during busy events
- Strong teamwork and willingness to support colleagues
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, public holidays, and event schedules
- Current Australian RSA certification or willingness to obtain one
- Applicants must have appropriate Australian working rights where required
