The Opportunity
A growing hospitality business in New South Wales is looking for experienced Restaurant Waitstaff and Food & Beverage Runners to join its professional team.
This opportunity is suited to hospitality professionals who take pride in delivering excellent guest experiences and can confidently perform in a busy, high-volume restaurant environment. You will work alongside an experienced team within a premium dining venue, with opportunities to develop your hospitality career.
Sponsorship is available for suitable candidates, with potential pathways toward permanent residency subject to eligibility and visa requirements.
Full-time and casual positions are available, with staff meals, career development opportunities and relocation assistance considered for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and professional service to guests
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately
- Manage allocated dining sections during busy service periods
- Deliver food and beverages efficiently and professionally
- Run food and drinks between kitchen, bar and dining areas
- Carry and serve multiple plates safely and confidently
- Prepare, clear and reset tables between sittings
- Operate computerised POS systems for orders and payments
- Assist guests with menu and beverage selections
- Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout service
- Work closely with kitchen, bar and front-of-house teams
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer requests
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and presentation standards
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Support smooth and efficient restaurant operations
Requirements & Eligibility
- Previous restaurant waitstaff or food and beverage experience
- Relevant hospitality qualification or equivalent industry experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Fluent English
- Ability to work confidently in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple sittings and competing service requirements
- Ability to carry three plates safely
- Current RSA Certificate
- Experience using computerised POS systems
- Wine knowledge is advantageous
- Professional personal presentation and grooming
- Reliable, honest and well-spoken
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Availability to work days, evenings and weekends
